Abstract
In this paper, the approximative method for determination the reliability and availability of a telecommunication system is described. This approximative method is based on the Monte Carlo method. For this purpose, the specially computer program was developed, by which the validity of this proposed method was verified. Application of this method is illustrated by one example. .
