Research progress on the application of Traditional Chinese Medicine nursing techniques in the treatment of recurrent aphthous ulcers (中医护理技术在复发性口腔溃疡中应用的研究进展)

Recurrent aphthous ulcers is categorized as “mouth sores” in Traditional Chinese Medicine. The causes and pathogenesis of recurrent oral ulcer is complex and diverse, with individual differences playing a significant role in disease development. Therefore, it is important to provide effective nursing care for patients. This study reviewed the progress of Traditional Chinese medicine nursing techniques in the care of recurrent aphthous ulcers in recent years, including moxibustion, acupoint injections, acupoint application, auricular acupoint pressing, external application of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and combined treatments, etc. The study aims to provide a reference basis for clinical nursing practice, with a view to optimizing the nursing care for patients with recurrent aphthous ulcers, and to improve the quality of life of patients.
