Abstract
The company’s capital understood as an intellectual resource (knowledge and skills), most strongly shapes its competitive position. Capital understood in this way increasingly determines the company’s market successes. The above is particularly important in the discussion of competitiveness through innovation. Innovation of enterprises is a response to diagnosed social demand; it’s market enrichment. Competition through innovation is therefore an added value for both the economic entity and the environment. It is the determinant of the progress of civilization.
