Abstract
The construction of the Careggi complex, today the largest healthcare center in Tuscany, took up much of the 20th century and is a process still in progress, which documents, from a particular perspective, the relationship between the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery and the City , in the broader context of the country's history of medicine and healthcare.
