Abstract
The growing economic damage from floods during high water and rainfalls makes the study topical. Inundation on the Ob River occurs regularly. Some districts of Barnaul are prone to it even at maximum water levels close to the average long-term ones. The statistical and historical-geographical analysis of floods over the observation period gives an idea of changes in their recurrence, genesis, and hazard class influenced by climate change.
