Im Beitrag wird das Phänomen der semantisch doppelnden Komposita im Deutschen thematisiert. Sie stehen im Fokus der Monografie von Georg Schuppener, die 2019 erschienen ist. Das Werk ist die erste systematische Beschreibung dieses Phänomens und bietet in theoretischer Hinsicht ein kompaktes Kom-pendium bezüglich der behandelten Erscheinung. Die theoretischen Überlegungen werden mit zahlrei-chen Beispielen untermauert. // In the article, the phenomenon of semantically double compound in German is addressed. They are the focus of Georg Schuppener‘s monograph, published in 2019. The work is the first systematic description of this phenomenon and, in theory, offers a compact compendium on the phenomenon it deals with. The theoretical considerations are supported by numerous examples.
