Abstract
The Faculty of Administrative and Economic Sciences of the Francisco de Paula Santander Ocaña University, based on its mission, tends for the integral training and personal growth of human resources, guiding them towards the business development processes of the environment through the academy, the research and social projection, has executed a series of activities and projects seeking the participation of all university levels and the community in general. Under this conception, it was proposed to constitute a multi-active cooperative Spin-off modality, which transforms academic, research and extension activities into projects of great added value, which favor innovation and entrepreneurship processes from the academy. The methodology used was participatory, where the university community and the governing bodies learned about the proposal, its organization and projection, committing themselves to the allocation of resources. The Cooperative as Spin-off is a business initiative promoted by researchers from the GIDSE Group, with a view to developing processes, products and services based on applied research for the development of new technologies, the creation of quality employment, the ability to generate high added value in economic activity and contribution to local and regional development.
