Abstract

This research was administered with the aim of investigating the effect of quality of life therapy on female college students’ psychological capital components (self efficacy, hope, resiliency, and life orientation). The statistical population included the students of General Psychology of Payam Noor University, Shahreza Branch. Among them, forty female students were selected using simple random sampling and then randomly assigned in two control and experimental groups. Research design was two groups experimental design with pretest-post test-follow up. The experimental group was trained and took part in eight sessions of quality of life therapy. Research instrument was psychological capital questionnaire (MacGee, 2011)and data were analyzed with the use of multivariate analysis of covariance. Results revealed that in post test, after control for pretest, there is a significant difference between experimental group and control group in hope, resiliency, and life orientation. Also results revealed that in follow up after control for pretest, there is a significant difference between experimental group and control group in self efficacy, hope, and life orientation.
