Abstract
El verdadero estado de la salud perinatal es difícil de establecer por dificultad de acceso a información confiable de los eventos que ocurren durante este período. En general, la investigación se ha restringido a evaluar la manifestación más extrema del problema de mal adaptación perinatal: la muerte y ésto, principalmente, por ser un evento finito registrado con mayor exactitud que la morbilidad (6).
