Abstract
Table 1.Parameters used for the X-ray data collection Source of material: Indofíne Chemical Company.Grown from methanol. The molecular conformation is described by the following torsion angles: 01-C2-C1'-C2' 50.1(4)°,C3-C2-C1'-C6' 103.4(4)°.The dihedral angle between the average planes of the phenyl and chromon rings is 75.8(1)°.The bond distance of 1.502(5) Â for C2-C Γ is slightly shorter than the related flavanone structure (see ref. 1 ). the hydroxy group forms an intermolecular hydrogen bond (04'-H •04-C4 1.78(4) Â).C15H12O3, monocUnic, P12i/cl (No. 14), a =5.307(2)Â, ¿=15.52(2)Â, c=14.827(6)Â, β =102.35(2)°,V=1193.0Â^Z=4, R(F) =0.048, Ry^F) =0.059.
