Abstract
C5H6N4O5, monoclinic, P12i/cl (No. 14), a = 7.724(1) Ä, b = 8.698(1) Ä, c = 11.621(1)Ä, β = 92.74(1)°,V= 779.8 Ä 3 , Z= 4, Rgt(F) = 0.043, R^F) = 0.034, T= 296 K. Source of material 0.01 mol of 4-(nitroamino)pyridine is dissolved in 20 cc acidic aqueous solution containing 0.015 mol HNO3 at 323 K. Slow evaporation of the solution at room temperature yields pale yellow crystals after 3-4 days.
