SYNTHESIS OF 4-AMINO-5(1-PHENYL-1-TRIPHENYLGERMYL)- ETHYL-1,2,4-TRIAZOLE-3-THIONE AND ITS DERIVATIVES

4-Amino-5-(l-phenyl-l-triphenylgermyl)ethyl-l,2,4-triazole-3-thione (3)and its derivatives 3-Cl-phenyl-l-triphenylgermyl)ethyl-s-triazolo [3,4-b][l,3,4]thiadiazol-6(5H)-thione (4) and 3-(l-phenyl-l-triphenylgermyl)ethyl-6-phenyl-7H-s-triazolo[3,4-b]thiadiazine (5) were synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR and Ή NMR.X-ray studies showed that crystalline 5 is monoclinic with space group P2,/c,a = ll.820(5) A »b = 17.750(4) A ,c = 14.460(6) Α >ß= 100.03(3)°,R = 0. 061,R, = 0. 069.
