Abstract
In the title compound, C12H9ClN2OS, the dihedral angle between the aromatic rings is 9.78 (11)°. In the crystal structure, inversion dimers linked by pairs of N—H...O hydrogen bonds occur, generating R22(8) loops. Weak aromatic π–π stacking [centroid–centroid separations = 3.7210 (15) and 3.8706 (15) Å] also occurs.
