Abstract

Highlights The primary stability of an implant is the crucial factor for achieving osseointegration. There is no experimental study showing the effect of hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) pressure on mechanical stability of implants. This mechanical study demonstrated 5 and 7 HBOT sessions had a slightly reducing effect on immediate implant stability.
